not “bound” by OT law
14th March 2006
Since I am one who believes we, as Christians, are truly “free” and we are no longer “bound” by OT law…I thought I would post this PDF file of 1050 (800) NT commands that I ran across by Finnis Jennings Dake.
You may also view them at the following URL in html format, though I caution you, the colors used on the webpage are horrid.

Wow, that really pulls the rug out from ‘not under the law’ argument.
Of course through the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ we can keep these commandments.
Thanks for the link.

Well I don’t believe we are under “the law” as it was once known. I prefer to say we are not “bound” by the law though. If you are a Christian you are under (and bound) by Christ. Jesus is the law for all practical purposes. We are to be Christ like (which involves a lot more than one might think).
I believe the legalists do Christ and His sacrifice a great injustice. However, the above link gives us plenty of commands to follow.
