New colors (theme) for the blog / website.
Being in the tech industry, I detest light backgrounds with dark text. It is much easier on the eyes to have a dark background and light text.
I have also become aware that the Scripture links do not work for IE users. I am a Firefox user myself so I was unaware of the IE error until today. I will look into the problem when I get some time.

Hey Brian,
Just back from vacation! I like the new look of your blog–it’s nice on the eyes
.
I’ll begin posting on my blog again. The Camponthis law and gospel post is quite interesting–I’ll probably be posting something relative to that issue soon.

Hope you had a good time. I was wondering why your blog hasn’t been updated in a while.

Here’s the version I use: http://dev.wp-plugins.org/browser/scripturizer
It works on either browser. What scripturizer do you use?

One other note, some of the text is really hard to read, such as the blockquote stuff. You may want to increase the contrast a bit.

I know this is just personal preference for you, but it caught my eye. Studies will actually show that people have an easier time reading dark text on a light background.

Actually, everything I have read states that dark background and light text is easier on the eyes for long periods of time.
Those statements coming from the technical and artistic field. There is a reason everything in the old days ran on “green screens” (black background, green text).

Well, I must be wired weird. Although I appreciate the “coolness” factor, light text on dark background really hurts my eyes!

I don’t think you are wired weird.
It may be perceived as hurting your eyes or not looking good but I don’t think the studies really addressed that. They addressed long term usage and what it does to the eyes.
Working in the technical industry for so long I can attest to their validity (I only wish I would have heeded them).
